At the core of my practice, I hold a deep commitment to empathy, respect, and inclusivity. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and understood.
I use a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support children’s growth, including:
-EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address trauma and emotional distress
-CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to challenge negative thought patterns and build essential coping skills
-SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) to help children identify and build on their strengths to create practical, goal-oriented solutions for their challenges
-Play Therapy to engage children in creative activities that fosters self-expression and helps children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and developmentally appropriate way.
-Art Therapy to empower children to communicate emotions they may not yet have the words to express
I believe in tailoring these approaches to the individual needs of each child, recognizing that every child is unique in how they process and experience the world.
My ultimate hope for every child I work with is that they leave our sessions feeling empowered, confident, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. I aim to help children develop the emotional resilience and coping skills they need to navigate the ups and downs of growing up. For parents, I hope to provide guidance and support that not only addresses immediate concerns but also helps create a long-term plan for their child’s emotional success.
At the core of my practice, I hold a deep commitment to empathy, respect, and inclusivity. I stri...

I believe you as a client are the expert of your own experience and together we explore emotions and narratives to bring about change. I view therapy as a collaborative experience between a therapist and client, one where there can be meaningful and honest conversations. I am a non-judgmental, respectful, caring systems therapist who focuses on a client’s goals. I believe in creating safety and comfort in therapy, helping you as a client find and express your hopes and desires. I believe in empowering and validating clients in your experience, to help you achieve your potential, reach your goals, and rediscover or re-encounter your authentic self.
As a clinician who offers trauma informed therapeutic play, I believe in the healing power of creative play that taps into the innate wisdom and resilience of children. In my practice, I work to help children and families to feel confident when encountering challenges, connected to each other, and able to turn to each other for care and support, through new and reparative experiences. In my work with children, I allow the child to take the lead, while creating a non-judgmental, safe and authentic space to allow for agency, autonomy and expression. I believe that children are innately growth-oriented, and that by giving space and helping to remove barriers, they will reach their potential. I join forces with parents to help create the family dynamics they want in the home through healthy relational interactions, start taking the lead in family relationships, and explore concrete steps to get there.
My degree in Marriage and Family Therapy informs my belief that change happens in relationships, supporting parents to trust themselves as they do the hard work of raising children. I believe in working with clients to cultivate and create healthy relationships outside of therapy, not just with others, but with themselves, so they can continue to work towards reaching goals. I want to help create change and choice for clients that they can access outside of therapy.
If you choose to work with me, you can expect gentle conversations to help discover who you are and what you want in order to gain a greater sense of meaning in your relationships and life.
